Company Nicolas Huchard

Nicolas Huchard has always been dancing. He was only 6 years old when he created his first choreography.

Since then, he has danced for the greatest: Jean-Paul Gaultier and Marion Motin, Madonna, Maurice Béjart. He becomes one of Christine’s queens, and collaborates with Angèle, Suzane or Aya Nakamura.

Each collaboration is an exploration of frontiers. Between softness and power, between feminine and masculine, between continents and disciplines. Nicolas Huchard loves asperities – creators of uniqueness.

The creation of his company in 2018 is the embodiment of this exploration, its values and its struggles. A political terrain where dance inscribes commitment in the body: “social dance”.

Born in 1988, Nicolas Huchard devoted himself to choreography at the age of twenty-five. Advocating the human aspect of choreography, Nicolas has developed a movement coaching technique that he himself has adapted and taught to the various artists with whom he has worked.

He has a global approach to dance and his inspiration is deeply rooted in his dual culture and his many artistic and human encounters. This dancing versatility has allowed him to work with some of the most prestigious names in fashion, cinema, advertising industry and music: The luxury brand LVMH hired him for their marketing campaign 24 Sèvres & Nicolas Winding Refn ( 2017); Jean-Paul Gaultier and Marion Motin called on his skills for the Fashion Freak Show (2017-2018); the French music scene solicits him for occasional collaborations with Angèle, Shay, Suzane, Kiddy Smile as well as Aya Nakamura.

More recently, Nicolas collaborated with Christine and the Queens (Chaleur Humaine, 2014-2017) and Madonna (Madame X Tour, 2019-2020) as a dancer/choreographer for their respective international tours.
