In partnership with the Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie and the home for isolated children and teenagers l’Estanc – Groupe SOS, our #JeSuis program offered four singing workshops with the polyphonic chamber choir Êkhô.

After an introductory session with the camin aktion mediators, 3 singers from Êkhô intervened for one month in the home. More than 20 young people took part in these workshops, for many a first experience of singing in a group. Vocal and body exercises, a repertoire ranging from medieval songs to proposals from the young people…

This amazing experience ended with the concert La Mécanique du Chœur presented on February 10, 2023 at the Opéra-Comédie Montpellier. After attending the concert, the participants were invited on stage to sing together. An unforgettable instant!
