Young choreographers and dancers from Guadeloupe and Martinique (French Caribbean islands), Loïck & Emerick Gene aka Les Gamal are twin brothers also known as the hiphop duet Les Gamal.

They are at the forefront of national and international hiphop competitions since 2016 and are awarded with more than thirty victories. In 2018, they became the first French group to win a title at the World Of Dance (WOD Championship) which exists since 2015.

Les Gamal are considered one of the best duos in France in the world of urban dance, Since 2018, they have taken the path of choreographic creation, basing their work on this leitmotif that has driven their passion from the start:

In the year 2010, Loïck and Emerick take their first dance class in Guadeloupe. After having moved to Lyon, they continue their dance studies at Pôle Pik, all by studying at the university. Yet their passion for dance took over… From 2014 to 2016, they follow hiphop dance studies at Thony Maskot School (Institut for professional hiphop dance education) in Paris.

As a duet, they are awarded with the 1st price at different academic contests in France an in Europe, and also are winners of renowned competitions and battles. Their shows are internationally acclaimed by events and festivals.

Multidisciplinary, Loïck & Emerick are teaching (workshops, classes and coaching), are part of fashion shows for important brands, take part at publicity films and music videos. They are ambassadors for two important hiphop festivals, Karavel (Lyon) and Kalypso (Paris) in the year 2019.

Since the end of 2018, the duet puts a strong focus on dance theatre creations. Nevertheless, they still enjoy participating at choreographic contests and freestyle battles. They made it to the finale of international competition Juste Debout in 2022.
