#idancemystory is an interactive urban dance project that invited dance fans to share videos under the hashtag of the same name on Instagram.
camin aktion contributed to the development of this participatory format with the German producer Signed Media, on behalf of arte / arte concert.
A whole section of tutorials, biopics and short formats on the history of urban dances, particularly in France and Germany, is available online on the dedicated page. From the historical roots of this culture, to contemporary forms: the documentary section allows us to grasp the depth and the complexities of dances originating from the social contexts of popular culture.
Among hundreds of applications, 12 talents were selected by the Franco-German jury made up of Storm, Physs and Georgina Saint-Laurent. They will participate in a Dance Camp at Kampnagel Hamburg, as part of the Summer Festival, for 3 intensive days of masterclasses with members of the jury and renowned artists.
