A celebration of dances born from hiphop culture in all their forms, origins, and contemporary echoes: welcome to the 3rd edition of HYPE OCC, a festival initiated by camin aktion and now carried forward with partners in four cities across Occitanie and presented in 12 venues, both urban and rural..
Performances, local and nationwide creations, works-in-progress, battles, a danced conference, jams, concerts, film screenings, workshops, masterclasses, and professional encounters: hip-hop culture shines in all its dimensions, inviting you to watch, to be amazed, to take part, and to share.

The HYPE OCC festival is a creation of camin aktion. Launched in 2023, its mission is to offer a new platform for the diversity of urban dances, in all their forms and expressions. It supports both dance companies and the wider choreographic field, while bringing audiences in the region a richer and more diverse artistic offering.
By the 2024 edition, the regional ambition had already taken shape: HYPE OCC was co-organized by camin aktion, L’Estive – Scène nationale de Foix et de l’Ariège, and La Casa Musicale in Perpignan.
This year, Tarbes joins the circle, with our partners Dans6T and Le Parvis ✱ Scène Nationale Tarbes-Pyrénées. L’Estive, Scène nationale de Foix et d’Ariège, extends the program into rural areas.
HYPE OCC has become a network for sharing, support, and the mobility of works, open to all audiences. With this approach, it contributes to the collective energy of RHOCC – HipHop network Occitanie – and the Dance Network Occitanie.
For its regional dimension, it is supported by DRAC Occitanie and Région Occitanie.
In Foix, L’Estive, Scène nationale de Foix et d’Ariège, presents the festival in connection with its Block Party on its own stage and in Saint-Girons.
In Perpignan, the festival is produced by La Casa Musicale with the support of the City of Perpignan, the Département des Pyrénées-Orientales, the Occitanie Region, DRAC Occitanie, the Préfecture des Pyrénées-Orientales, and the Caisse des Allocations Familiales des Pyrénées-Orientales.
Dans6T and Le Parvis ✱ Scène Nationale Tarbes Pyrénées bring HYPE OCC to life with the brand-new festival FEST-NOV! – a celebration of dance in the Hautes-Pyrénées, in complicity with La Soulane and Traverses
In Montpellier, the 2025 edition is supported by the City of Montpellier and realized in collaboration with our partners Agora – International Dance City, Pôle Chorégraphique Bernard Glandier, ENSAD, Hangar Théâtre, Cinéma Utopia, Halle Tropisme, and Maison pour Tous Louis Feuillade.
