Between 2014 and 2023, he trained with the <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: medium;\">Footprints of David Arts Academy<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> under Seun Awobajo, developing a distinctive identity that blends traditional Nigerian dances, theatre, and performance. He toured internationally for six years with the collaborative theatre project <\/span><em style=\"font-size: medium;\">SORRY<\/em><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> and has worked with prominent figures such as <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: medium;\">Wole Soyinka, Anne-Marie Porras<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: medium;\">Qudus Onikeku, Salia Sanou,<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> and <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: medium;\">Seun Kuti,<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">He later trained at the <strong>Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN)<\/strong> on a scholarship, studying Western dance styles including contemporary, classical ballet, jazz, hiphop, Latin, and tap dance. After joining the SPAN Dance Company, he performed in France, notably at the Festival D&#8217;arc in 2022. In 2023, he entered the professional program at <strong>Epsedanse<\/strong> Montpellier, joined Compagnie NID, became fellow of the <span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/caminaktion.eu\/en\/incubator\"><strong>camin aktion incubator program<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, and won first prize at the \u00c0 Pas de Loup choreographic competition. He holds a photography certificate from Canon and, since 2024, has been pursuing studies at the <strong>CNDC in Angers<\/strong> toward the Dipl\u00f4me National Sup\u00e9rieur Professionnel de Danseur and a Bachelor\u2019s in Dance Studies with the University of Angers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.27.4&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Danielo<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"> Belcher<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, began dancing at the age of seven under the guidance of <strong>Jean-Aurel Maurice<\/strong>, later joining his dance school in Jacmel from its opening. Over eleven years, he trained in classical, contemporary, jazz, Haitian folkloric, and hiphop-based techniques, while also exploring salsa and acrobatics. In 2020, at eighteen, he moved to France to study at <strong>Epsedanse<\/strong> Montpellier under Anne-Marie Porras, combining technical training in contemporary, jazz, and classical dance with his high school studies at Lyc\u00e9e Fran\u00e7oise Combes. Selected among twelve finalists for <strong>ARTE<\/strong>\u2019s <em>I Dance My Story<\/em> project, he participated in masterclasses and a collective creation at Kampnagel, Hamburg, directed by <strong>Storm, Philippe Almeida, Willy Stark<\/strong>, and <strong>Viola Luise,<\/strong> later featured in a documentary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In 2022, Danielo joined the S2TMD program at Lyc\u00e9e Cl\u00e9menceau in partnership with the <strong>Cit\u00e9 des Arts \u2013 Conservatoire de Montpellier,<\/strong> performing works by Dominique Bagouet, Cie Marchepied, and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. In 2024, he earned his S2TMD Baccalaur\u00e9at and Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00c9tudes Chor\u00e9graphiques with honors, and was admitted to the <strong>CNDC Angers<\/strong>, where he now studies toward the Dipl\u00f4me National Sup\u00e9rieur Professionnel de Danseur and a Bachelor\u2019s in Dance Studies with the University of Angers.
