Various artistic movements flourish and influence one another in an increasingly open and connected world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>The Call of Dance in Senegal<\/em> is a sensory, philosophical, and meditative journey led by several characters from radically different backgrounds, who will open the doors to their worlds and souls. With an immersive and raw tone, sometimes staged or choreographed, the film captures these suspended moments outside of time where dance simply brings people together, celebrates, and allows for escape.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The body in motion expresses itself alone, in groups, at the cultural center of Dakar, in a Krump battle, on the shores of the ocean, during Senegalese wrestling sessions, and at the heart of an initiation ceremony in the countryside. It reflects the state of each individual, their history, environment, emotions, and intentions.
