From<\/span> November 10th to 12th, camin aktion presented the first edition of its festival HYPE OCC.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

An initiative that includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 3 days<\/strong> of the festival<\/p>\n

\u2022 9 artistic proposals from<\/strong> Occitania, Marseille, London and Paris<\/p>\n

\u2022 one-third<\/strong> of Occitan regional programming<\/p>\n

\u2022 6 performance, one battle, an arte documentary film, a multimedia installation<\/strong>, encounters with artists,<\/strong> a\u00a0public talk<\/strong> with dancers from Montpellier, Paris, Mayotte and Ha\u00efti<\/p>\n

\u2022 6 actions actions of artistic and cultural education<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 60 involved artists<\/strong>, 90% of whom are women<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 An audience of 928 enthusiasts<\/strong>, representing 93% of the seat capacity<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The mobilization of 224 solidarity invitations (a quarter of the capacity!)<\/strong> for vulnerable audiences: children, teenagers and young adults from MECS (Social Character Children’s Homes); emergency shelters and educational services for unaccompanied minors from Montpellier, Boisseron, Frontignan, and Sommi\u00e8res; young adults with no family bounds; the association Famille au Grand C\u0153ur working for the accompaniment and protection of asylum seekers and refugees from the LGBTQI* community; the audience accompanied by CIMADE refugees care; families in precarious situations.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Specific artistic and cultural education actions & mediation<\/strong> with MECS, shelters, youth housing units, precarious situations, associations<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mobilization of 16 generous volonteers<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 20 employees<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Dynamic cooperation and partnership with the Museik 1st collective<\/strong> for the realization of the Battle at Chapiteau Balthazar<\/p>\n

\u2022 Partnership with the Balthazar<\/strong> Circus arts training center<\/p>\n

\u2022 Support from County of H\u00e9rault<\/strong>, notably with the provision of the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre d’O<\/strong>, its committed team, and highly qualified technicians, and the integration of the Pouss’Culture<\/strong> youth program into the festival’s dynamics<\/p>\n

\u2022 Support from the HipHop 2023 Structuring Venues<\/em> program via the Attitude<\/strong> association, with the support of the DRAC Occitania<\/strong>\u00a0and the Occitania<\/strong>\u00a0Region<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The funding mobilized by our association’s own resources amounted to 55%<\/strong><\/p>\n
