Jos\u00e9pha Madoki<\/strong>, also known as Princess Madoki<\/strong>, is a plural artist. She trained in both urban dances and classical, contemporary and jazz techniques at the Acad\u00e9mie Internationale de Danse (Paris).<\/p>\n She collaborates as a dancer\/performer on eclectic projects, with choreographers from different worlds such as Damien Jalet, Wayne Mc Gregor, Pierre Rigal, Ousmane Sy<\/strong> or Robyn Orlin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Her work as a choreographer began in 2010 with the creation of Company Madoki<\/strong> and a first solo, Mes mots sont tes maux<\/em>, winning the award Paris Jeunes Talents 2010.<\/p>\n In 2016, Jos\u00e9pha Madoki joined the company of Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui<\/strong> and danced in works such as Babel 7.16<\/em>, the opera Satyagraha<\/em> (Basel\/Switzerland), the opera Alceste<\/em> (Munich\/Germany) and Stoic<\/em> (Gothenburg\/Sweden). Still with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, she collaborated with the international star Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>, in the music video Apeshit<\/em> shot at the Louvre Museum, and also in the music videos Spirit<\/em> and Bigger<\/em> shot in Los Angeles (soundtrack of the movie The Lion King<\/em>).<\/p>\n Princess Madoki is the figurehead of a culture that is developing more and more in France and throughout Europe: Waacking.<\/p>\n She is often invited to bring her expertise and participate in international battles. She also transmits her knowledge of Waacking through workshops, masterclasses and conferences all over the world (Australia, China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Russia…).<\/p>\n 2016, Princess Madoki co-founded the first French Waacking collective Ma Dame Paris<\/strong>, creating stage works highlighting this aesthetic, creations such as Waackez-vous Fran\u00e7ais?<\/em> <\/strong><\/a>and Oui, et vous?<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n In the year 2019, she launched her own Waacking event in Paris and Moscow: the All Europe Waacking Festival<\/strong>. Over the years, this event has become the unmissable event for the entire European Waacking scene. Attracting increasing interest from cultural institutions interested in this dance culture, Jos\u00e9pha Madoki organized a Waacking battle at the Mus\u00e9e d’Orsay (Paris) in 2024.
