Discover the subtle connections between dances from Nigeria\u2019s three major ethnic groups (Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) and traditional Haitian dances, deeply rooted in West African and voodoo heritage. Recognized in his community with a Special Recognition Award as &#8220;Best Dancer&#8221; in 2018, Moses has distinguished himself as a multifaceted artist with skills spanning dance, teaching, chess, percussion, football, acting, modeling, and acrobatics.<\/p>\n<p>Moses\u2019 professional journey began at the <strong>Footprints of David Arts Academy<\/strong> (2014\u20132023), a renowned children&#8217;s theatre troupe in Bariga, Lagos, led by Seun Awobajo. There, he received rigorous training in indigenous Nigerian dance forms and theatre arts, cultivating a strong foundation in traditional and contemporary performance.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout his career, Moses has collaborated with celebrated figures in the arts, including: <strong>Segun Adefila<\/strong> (Crown Troupe of Africa), <strong>Qudus Onikeku<\/strong> (Internationally acclaimed choreographer), <strong>Anne-Marie Porras<\/strong> (Director, Epsedanse Montpellier), as well <strong>Salia Sanou<\/strong>, <strong>Jos Pujol<\/strong>, <strong>Peter Badejo<\/strong>, <strong>Sahar Rahimi<\/strong>, <strong>Segun Liadi (Ijodee)<\/strong>, and <strong>Jahman Anikulapo<\/strong>, among others. His dedication and passion earned him a scholarship to the <strong>Society for the Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN)<\/strong>, where he trained in western dance styles including contemporary, classical ballet, jazz, hip-hop, Latin ballroom, and tap. He later joined SPAN\u2019s dance company, performing in multiple productions and representing Nigeria in France, including intensive programs at the <strong>Darc Festival in Ch\u00e2teauroux (2022).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2023, Moses was awarded a scholarship to pursue further professional training at <strong>Epsedanse in Montpellier<\/strong>, where he joined the <strong>NID Company<\/strong> under Anne-Marie Porras.
