Konpani Soul City (Reunion Island) represented France a the Jeux de la Francophonie (International Games of French-speaking countries) which occurred Abidjan. The company was part of the discipline “Creative Dance”. Choreography Tir Pa Kart’* by Didier Boutiana was awarded with the silver medal, just beyond Frères Joseph (Mauricius), followed by N’Soleh (Ivory Coast).
Congratulations to the crews! The Indian Ocean is most definitely a territory where choreographic talents arise 😉
*Tir Pa Kart’ is a choreographic module of Ti Kréa. As a tool for outreach and pedagogy, those modules are adapted with participants world-wide. The present video is a version directed by Didier Boutiana with dancers from Madagascar.
